Potholes & standing water
The driveway has gone flat or dished in the middle, so rain sits on it and every puddle turns into a pothole.
Ruts, potholes, washouts or standing water? We regrade your driveway, give it a proper crown so it sheds water, fix the drainage and top it with fresh compacted stone. Fixed price up front.
Fix it before winter: our first 7 customers pay fuel & material only. Offer ends Dec 15.
It is almost never the gravel. It is water, and a driveway that has lost its shape.
The driveway has gone flat or dished in the middle, so rain sits on it and every puddle turns into a pothole.
Water runs down the driveway instead of off it, carrying the stone with it. Usually a missing ditch, turnout or culvert.
Tire tracks that keep coming back mean the base is too thin or the ground under it stays wet.
The stone has scattered or sunk, there is more dirt and grass than gravel, and it is muddy every winter.
Break up the old surface, pull the stone back from the edges and cut out the ruts and potholes.
Regrade so the middle sits higher than the edges, so water runs off the sides instead of down the middle.
Ditches, turnouts and culverts where water needs to cross or leave the driveway. This is what makes the repair last.
Add base where it is thin, top with fresh stone and compact it with the track loader so it locks together.

We price after we see it, and you get a fixed number in writing before we start. Here is what goes into it.
Length and width of the driveway, or the area of the pad or parking spot.
A touch-up regrade costs far less than rebuilding a washed-out drive with new base.
How many tons it needs and which stone. We buy direct from the quarry and pass that on.
Any ditches, turnouts or culverts needed to keep water off it for good.
Most residential driveways are done in a day. Long drives, new driveways or jobs with culverts can take two or three.
Usually crusher run (GAB) because it packs down hard and holds its shape, sometimes with #57 stone where drainage matters more. We will recommend what suits your driveway and slope when we see it.
Almost always water. If the driveway is flat or dished, or water from the road or a hill runs down it, it will keep losing stone no matter how much you add. Fixing the crown and the drainage is what makes it last.
We can, but if the driveway has lost its shape the new stone ends up in the same ruts within a season. A regrade first is usually cheaper over the long run.
No, we do gravel and stone. We can grade and prepare the base if you plan to pave later.
