Cleared and mulched in one pass
The mulching head grinds brush, vines and small trees where they stand and leaves a layer of wood mulch on the ground. No dragging piles around.
Overgrown lot, back acreage gone to brush, or a fence line you can't find any more? We clear it with a forestry mulcher and leave the ground covered in mulch. No burn piles, no hauling, a fixed price up front.
A forestry mulcher is a spinning drum of steel teeth on the front of a track loader. It chews through brush, vines and small trees and spits them back out as mulch, right where they stood. Clearing and cleanup happen in the same pass.
We run it on a high-flow Takeuchi TL12V2, a heavy tracked machine that is easy on lawns and soft ground and has the hydraulic power a mulching head needs.

The mulch layer holds the topsoil, slows erosion and breaks down over time. Root systems stay in the ground, so slopes stay put.
Nothing to burn, no dumpster and no truckloads of debris leaving your property. That is usually the biggest saving over traditional clearing.
Every property is different, so we price after we see it. Here is what goes into the number, and you get it in writing before we start.
Priced by the acre (or part of an acre), not by the hour, so the number does not move if the machine has a slow day.
Light (grass, brush, saplings), medium (thick brush and small trees) or heavy (dense stands up to the size the mulcher can take).
Flat and open, rolling, or steep and rocky. Slopes and rock slow the work and wear the teeth.
How far the trailer can get, gates, soft ground and anything we have to work around.
Tell us roughly how much land and what is growing on it. Photos or a map pin help a lot.
Free on-site estimate. We mark what stays, what goes and anything to protect, and give you a fixed price.
One operator, one machine. Most residential jobs take one to a few days depending on size and density.
We walk it again together before we load up. If something was missed, we fix it then.
Brush, vines, saplings and small trees, typically up to about 6 to 8 inches across. Bigger trees are a job for a tree service. We can work alongside one, or mulch the brush around trees you want to keep.
Forestry mulching grinds stumps down to roughly ground level and leaves the roots in place, which is what holds the soil. If you need the ground stump-free for a building pad or lawn, tell us and we will price the extra grading.
A layer of shredded wood mulch, a few inches deep, with the soil underneath intact. Grass and ground cover can come back through it, and it breaks down over a season or two.
Yes. That is the advantage of one contractor for both: we can mulch the brush, then grade a building pad, driveway or parking area with the same track loader.
Mulching brush on your own residential property usually does not, but clearing near streams, on larger tracts, or as part of construction can. Rules vary by county. We will tell you what we know for your county when we walk the job, and you should confirm with them before we start.
We are based in Cumming and work across Forsyth, Dawson, Cherokee, Hall, Lumpkin and Pickens counties, and further for larger jobs.

Call and tell us what you're looking at. If it's a fit for a mulcher, we'll come walk it.
